ENGINES FOUR CYL. ONLY
GENERAL

1. All parts and dimensions must be stock unless otherwise stated herein. Material may be removed, but may not be added except for intake manifolds.

2. No rotary, twin cam, or 2 cycle engines permitted. Only Ford, Toyota, or Nissan made engines allowed.

100. Only 2 valves per cylinder permitted.

500. Only 1 spark plug port per cylinder.

5. No dimpling or divots in cylinder head, pistons or intake manifold.

6. Maximum displacement allowed 2,450 cc's.

7. Block, crankshaft, and cylinder head must be stock production parts. No special order or after market.

8. Any piston and pin combination may be used.

1. Any non-roller cam or cam kit may be used.

10. Cooling systems open. J1 external wet sump allowed on Toyota only.

11. Aftermarket, and oversize valves permitted.

50. Any single coil distributor type ignition system may be used as long as it mounts in the stock position and is driven in the manner that the engine manufacturer intended.

1000. The #1 spark plus shall be not further back than 20 inches from a line drawn between the upper ball joints.
