2nd goes to Doug Hopper. This team comes to the OLM from an extensive background driving Sprint Cars, Late Models, and Mini-stocks, fact is just about anything with 4 wheels. Doug was instrumental in getting us a race at St. Pete this year a track where he was track champion. Doug was also extremely influential in our finally getting into Auburndale for 2003.

Looking to Next Year

We have a great schedule for next year with 17 races at 4 tracks. This will be one our most challenging years yet with totally different tracks to deal with. There are no back to back races and we have the month of July off of family vacations. We have also filled our TBA date for March 22nd with Hialeah Speedway. Thank you Bill Mattress, Doug Hopper, and Tech Man Smitty for all their hard work in securing us these dates.

Registration

It's time to send in your money and registration forms for next year. Numbers will only be held for so long so register early to protect your number. Registration for 2003 is $125.00 and make checks payable to Outlaw Modified and send them to 6901 Plumosa Lane Ft. Pierce FL 34951.

Rules for 2003

We have released the rules for 2003 and not much has changed. We have cleaned up some old rules that no longer made sense since we have adopted a 60% left side weight rule several years ago. Safety Belts dates have also been updated to keep them within 5 years of manufacture. We have included them in this mailing.

Tires

We wish to thank Hoosier for all their support last year and the great jackets they provided for us for at this years Banquet. Hoosier is still our tire for 2003 and please get your orders in early. Next year tires will increase by 5 dollars to 110.00 a piece.
