Sandwiched in between two 50-lap Late Model races The OUTLAW MODIFIEDS put on some of the best racing of the evening.

Bringing 23 cars to the track the series started all but one for the feature.

Phillip Brigham of FT Pierce in the 7 car seemed to have the field in hand until the 13th lap when second place Ted Hoversen of Key West in the 5 car muscled him out of the way to take the point.

It didn’t last though as he an Phillip continued to trade paint and allowed Raymond “Superfrog” Jones of Arcadia in the 41 car and Randy Sands of Tavernier in the Pink Cadillac 8 car to get by them.

A spin by Randy Sands coming out of four on the final lap shuffled the field yet again as he tried to get a run on Superfrog for the lead.

The Outlaw Modifieds continue to attract some of the best drivers in Florida as Legendary Dave Scarborough two time winner of the Mini 500 and past track Champion at many race tracks and series came out of retirement to drive Dr. Seigfreid Holtz / Harry Campbell 00 car.

Talk around Florada is that Scarborough may become the permanent driver for this car.
