HOVERSEN LEADS OUTLAWS FROM POLE TO FINISH

Ted Hoversen 2002 Outlaw Modified Champion led for all 25 laps at Hialeah Speedway as the Outlaw Modifieds made their first of two appearances at Hialeah Speedway March 23. The only car that really had anything for Ted was the 7 car of Phillip Brigham which ran right on Teds bumper until a caution on lap 12 which caused the field to bunch up and allow the field to catch the two. A fuel problem caused Phillip Brigham to retire early and allowed Raymond Superfrog Jones in the Dave Osteen 41 car to now chase Ted. It was to no avail though as the race was completed with Ted Hoversen in the lead. Finishing behind Frog was Bobby Dayton in the 60 car of Dan Curl in fourth was the 25 car driven by Kelly Curl. It was a good night for the Curl team with two cars in the top 5. Rounding out the top 5 was Myk Kohut in the 83 car. The Outlaws will be at Hialeah again April 5th.
