Cars A Movin
After a hard crash at Desoto Gary Boals has purchased the Harold Perry roller from Tom Rahrle and is working hard on getting it ready for this weekend.
After 2 weeks of motor trouble with the 8 car George Sands has purchased the 14 car of John E. George is busily swapping the Lance Hoversen built engine to the #8 car in hopes of making the race.
The #93 car of Bill Boyett has gone to Pete Cracolici of North Largo and we hear its up at Hopper Heaven getting a new body. Look for it at Punta Gorda.
Continuing on in our family Spirit Robert and Harry Campbell Uncle and Grandfather pf Billy Campbell of the #11 car have purchased a car from Tom Anglescy. THats right Tom has sold the 16 black Beauty! After making a few changes look for this fast little car to be out racing with us.
We have a change of Venue for our April 5th race.
Leroy Davidson has an opportunity to lease out the track on that date for a monster Truck show and in order to help him pay for the great job he has done with the track we have rescheduled our race to Hialeah. Thats right back to back races at the birth place of the Outlaw Modifieds. (March 22 and April 5th) Thank you to the new management of Hialeah for taking us on such short notice.
MISSED MAY 3RD RACE. As hard as we try we still make mistakes and the race May 3rd is one of them. We somehow dropped this Committed race from our schedule. We realize that some of our group have already made other plansfor this date. DOUG HOPPER AND BETTY ARE GETTING MARRIED. However, we have a commitment to race at Punta Gorda that weekend which we will make. Because of this SNAFU and wanting to be fair to everyone this will be a non points event with a $500.00 to win payoff and the remainder of the purse to be divided between two lucky winners to be drawn by random by the winner. (Min 16 cars participating) We will also be conducting a voluntary Calcutta with the highest participating team taking the pot.
Be sure to check out our new website designed by Bill and Christy Boyett. It really looks good! They need Info for the driver page so please get it to them.
